Places to go people to meet

We have just come back from a weekend with my family Siobhan meet 14 new people had lots of cuddles and was spoilt by everyone. It was lovely to see all the family. My little nephew Theo was very cute and sat down crossed legged in front of Siobhan and pointed to her saying "baba" ahhhhhh! Here is a picture from the weekend Siobhan is being held by her great Nanny, there is my mum, sister and the kids. I am still very shocked at the fact the Siobhan has so many grand parents! In total she has 4 great Grandmar's, 2 great Grandad's, 2 Nanny's and 2 Grandad's, that's a lot! I am very tired of to bed before I get woken up by someone wanting MILK!

What a busy week

It has been a very busy week with lots of learning for us all!! With the sleeping thing I'm getting there now Daniel has been great he sends me up for a nap between 7pm and 8pm and then wakes me up between 11pm and 12am in time for the next feed and this means that I am on top form for the night shift with out falling asleep and Dan gets a good nights sleep, so finger crossed it will keep working.
Siobhan has quite an apatite at the moment and can eat and eat and eat......... That I do find tiryering but I have been told that she will do that while the weather is so hot.
In one day she did a wee on Daniel and did a poo on me! I guess that is just the first of many!
on Wednesday we went to the registrar to get her name registered I must say it was very tempting to change her nice to something like princess cutie pie, but we thought it is best to be sesible parents and stick to Siobhan Elizabeth.
Some wants food again!!!!!!! Will she ever stop eating....

Trip to town

Hey we just had our first trip out, we went to town for a short while as we had some shopping to do Siobhan was well behaved and did not make a fuss, what girl would where shopping is involved.

We all had a good night last night the most sleep we have all had in days however I can feel a nap coming on now.

Last night I fell a sleep on the sofa and woke up and said why am I not in hospital, how did I get home, I must have still been a sleep! Or just going crazy!

Siobhan Elizabeth Fordham

On the 12th Of July @ 13:38 Siobhan Elizabeth Fordham Came into the world weighing 7lbs 3oz
It was an emotional journey but worth every moment.

Due to having pre eclampsia I was started off at 11.45am on Tuesday it was slow progress and then latter that evening I had my waters broken it was still slow going so was put on the drip to help things along at 4 am baby's heart beat had dropped it was then discovered that she was presenting her hand that was quickly pushed back every thing was still on the slow and I was only 4cm with irgegular contractions at 12pm on the Wednesday after being checked baby was now presenting her Arm this now being the reason why I never got any further and the decision was taken to go to theater for an emergency cesarean.

After 18 days in hospital and am now very happy to be home.
