Birthday and christening

Well this years birthday was a lot different to last years, Last year I woke up cold in a tent after spending the weekend at the V festival this year I was woken up by my crying baby.... How things have changed, I did have a lovely birthday my Mum was with me and we went out for Tea and cakes, I got some lovely prezzies one of them being a scanna for the computer, I have to say a well done to Daniel cause he's never been good at suprises or keeping secrets and I did not have a clue about this prezzie and I am so looking forward to digging out old photos from school and from when I was working in Woolacombe and Golden Sands....... I have not yet had time to set it up as at the end of last week I went and stayed with my Mum as it was Theo's Christening It was a lovely day and nice to catch up with all the family here are some pics from the past week ................ Hi all, hope your all cool... Did any of you see Richard and Judy the other day? They were talking about Bloggs and one about what Paul Daniels buys on eBay was featured on the show I found it and read it, it's really entertaining and slightly odd if you have some time on your hands it's http//pdetblogspot.com
Siobhan got weighed yesterday and has put on a further 2oz she is now a grand total of 7lb 11oz and at just over 5 weeks old she still weighs less than I did when I was born, I was a whopping 9lb 6oz.
I have my mummy coming on Sunday to stay for a few days so I am really excited as she will be here for my birthday and it be about 4 years since I last spent my birthday with my mum and she offered to babysit for us so Dan and I can go out.

Great Nanna and Grandad Wilson

Yesterday Siobahn got to meet Great Nanna and Grandad Wilson. Once again She has been totally spoilt, Nanna and Grandad if you are reading this once again thank you for the sleep suites they are beautiful.

She got lots of cuddles and spent a lot of the time asleep on Nanna, I'm sure making baby's sleep is a special skill that women acquire once they become Nanna's so next time she plays me up at bed time any one of you could get a knock on the door you have been warned!

We were both worried that as she had spent a lot of yesterday asleep she would not sleep last night however to our surprise she went for just under 5 hours before waking up for a feed! I was very impressed.

Well I must pop now as I have plenty of house work to do.........

A posh night out!

I had a fab night out last night, it was the works summer party and I was out on the loose! It was soooooooooo posh... Ive never been to kings college before and It's beautiful and the hall we were in was like Hogwarts. I had so much fun seeing my work friends especially Claire and Nick it was a free bar the wine was delicious and the meal we had was top notch.... You can tell I've not been out for weeks as all I really have to compare it to was the food I had in hospital! There was a live band that were really good, they are called Macca and are from Newmarket they played music by Travis, Coldplay, The Beatles and The Red Hot chili Peppers I must track them down and go and see them again. Daniel was left in charge of Siobhan and they had a nice time together and went I got home they were both fast asleep and I'm very impressed with Siobhan as She did not wake up till 5am for her feed, so by the time I got home I got a good 4 hours sleep.

Hello all....

Things have been good and I am loving every moment of being a mum...... Even when she decides to be wide awake for most of the night like last night! Dan and I were spoilt the previous two nights when she slept for 5 hours solid with out a peep, I knew it was too good to be true...

Tomorrow is my works summary party so I am let out on the loose for one evening only I'm really excited it's sounds V posh as it's at Kings Collage In Cambridge with a free bar and live music.. Not that I can make full use of the free bar! I have a baby to feed...... But I could help her sleep!!??

That is all for now I will update you all soon and let you know how the summer party went and how Dan and Siobhan got on.
